Welcome to Lutterworth Football Academy ("the Academy", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, facilities, and services at Hall Park, Hall Lane, Bitteswell, Lutterworth LE17 4LN, UK ("the Facility"). By accessing or using our website, making a booking, or utilising any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Facility Booking

 

1.1 Pitch Hire

We offer four 5-a-side pitches, one 11v11 full-size pitch, and other facilities available for booking. All bookings must be made via our website or through our customer service team.

1.2 Availability

Pitch availability is subject to our schedule. All bookings are subject to confirmation by us, and we reserve the right to change or cancel any bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In case of such cancellations, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative booking date.

1.3 Booking and Payment

A booking is only confirmed once payment is received. Payments for pitch hire, event functions, or kids’ birthday parties must be made at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed with us.

1.4 Cancellation and Refund Policy

​

• Pitch Hire: Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the booking time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking are non-refundable.

• Event Functions and Birthday Parties: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the event date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable.

2. Cancellations and No-Show Policy

 

2.1 Failure to Attend

If you fail to attend a booked session or event without providing notice of cancellation as per our cancellation policy, no refund or credit will be issued. You remain responsible for payment, and the booking will be considered forfeited.

2.2 League Competition Implications

If you are participating in a league or tournament at Lutterworth Football Academy and fail to attend a match or cancel without proper notice, your opponent will be awarded a 3-0 victory, and they will receive the full points for that match. The match will not be rescheduled. Repeat no-shows may result in a review of your league participation and potential removal from the competition.

3. Use of the Facility

 

3.1 Rules and Conduct

All users of the facility must follow the Academy's rules, including but not limited to safety regulations, behaviour expectations, and fair play policies. We reserve the right to remove any individuals or groups from the facility if they engage in unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.

3.2 Insurance and Liability

The Academy does not provide personal injury insurance to players or event guests. All users participate at their own risk. We strongly recommend that individuals take out personal insurance for their own protection. The Academy is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of our facilities, unless caused by our negligence.

3.3 Equipment and Attire

Users are responsible for bringing appropriate footwear, clothing, and any other required equipment for their sessions. The Academy is not liable for any personal items lost or damaged while using the facilities.

4. Health and Safety

 

4.1 General Safety

We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all users of the Lutterworth Football Academy facilities. All players, visitors, and staff must adhere to health and safety guidelines while using the pitches and other areas of the facility. The safety of everyone is our top priority, and we reserve the right to take action if any individual’s actions pose a risk to others.

4.2 Injury Prevention

​

• All players are strongly advised to warm up and stretch properly before playing to reduce the risk of injury.

• Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. Cleats or studded shoes are recommended for playing on grass pitches.

• Any individual with an existing medical condition or injury should seek medical advice before engaging in physical activity and notify the Academy of any special requirements.

4.3 First Aid

Basic first aid equipment is available on-site, and staff are trained in first aid procedures. In the event of an injury, please immediately notify a member of staff. If the injury is serious, we will contact emergency services.

4.4 Playing Conditions

​

• The pitches will be inspected regularly to ensure they meet safety standards. In the event of poor playing conditions (e.g., wet or hazardous weather), we may close the pitches for safety reasons. Bookings will be rescheduled or refunded if the pitches are deemed unfit for use.

• We ask players to exercise caution in adverse weather conditions (e.g., snow, heavy rain, ice) and to follow all instructions from our staff regarding safety measures.

4.5 Conduct on the Premises

​

• Aggressive or dangerous behaviour, including reckless or unsafe play, will not be tolerated. Any individual found to be engaging in dangerous or aggressive conduct may be removed from the facility.

• All players must wear appropriate attire (e.g., no jeans or inappropriate clothing) to prevent injury and ensure comfort during play.

4.6 Children and Youth Supervision

​

• Children using the facilities for sports or birthday parties must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

• The Academy staff will provide supervision for activities as agreed upon, but ultimate responsibility for the safety of children remains with the parent or guardian.

4.7 Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking

​

• The consumption of alcohol, recreational drugs, or smoking is prohibited within the facility, except in designated areas if permitted. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all users and expect everyone to comply with these regulations.

4.8 Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of the Academy staff and evacuate the facility in an orderly and calm manner. Emergency exits and assembly points will be clearly marked within the facility.

By using our facilities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all health and safety guidelines. Failure to do so may result in removal from the facility and possible cancellation of your booking.

5. Event Functions and Birthday Parties

 

5.1 Booking

For events or birthday parties, a deposit may be required to confirm the booking. The deposit amount and full payment terms will be provided at the time of booking.

5.2 Event Planning

For event functions or birthday parties, any specific requirements (e.g., catering, decorations, entertainment) should be discussed and agreed with the Academy prior to the event. We cannot guarantee availability for any last-minute requests.

All content on the website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Lutterworth Football Academy and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without prior permission.
